At Bykowski Tailor we take pride in being at the forefront in creating trends in menswear and lifestyle. It was the passion to bring innovation to lifestyle that drove us to start our business in the first place. This is just one of the many things we do and live that our competitors simply cannot genuinely compete with.
Menswear was grim and quite frankly, atrocious from the 80's to the millennium. 2009 was the final straw, it was all ill fitting, standard colored, shiny ass suits and neckwear. Don't even get us started on the boot and hat game, hell, we had to do something about that too. We’re confident our impact on modern menswear with nostalgic inspiration, though not recognized, has helped shaped what it is now. Thank goodness!
We started with a $10k severance from being laid off, $2500 credit card, passion and grit. We couldn’t get a loan. The comeback of the bow tie, hat, 1920's and other throwback style suits and garb for daily wear was our trademark before the Boardwalk Empire, Peaky Blinders and all the craze in Heritage wear. What were you wearing in 2009? Seriously.
